Question: What is the difference between the Basic and Classic Firemaster?
Answer: The Basic is made of thinner steel and is slightly smaller.

Question: There is an asterisk next to the delivery time of 1-2 days. What does that mean?
Answer: If you order on Friday, for example, it will be delivered after the weekend. If a hood is not immediately available, the delivery time will be extended. Of course, we will let you know immediately.

Question: Can a Firemaster also be placed on a ceramic pipe?
Answer: Yes, no problem.

Question: How long does such a chimney hood last?
Answer: If you follow the guidelines that come with every Firemaster chimney hood, 20 years or more is feasible with a hood made of stainless steel.

Question: I come across the same chimney hoods for much less money.
Answer: They are poor imitations, often from China. There is clearly a difference in quality.

Question: My chimney sweep does not recommend a Firemaster.
Answer: That is his right, but a good quality chimney cap with draught-promoting properties, that is universal, easy to install, lasts for years and is guaranteed, he simply cannot ignore that. Perhaps something else is going on?

Question: If I email a photo of my flue, can you then determine which size of the Excellent I need?
Answer: Not with just a photo. We need the outside and inside dimensions of the flue.

Question: Are there no base plates for the FM Excellent Small?
Answer: There are indeed none because the Firemaster Excellent (Small) is available in several sizes/diameters.

Question: Do you also install it?
Answer: No, we do not have an installation service.

Question: Do you also deliver to Germany?
Answer: Yes, no problem.

Question: Do you deliver on invoice?
Answer: No, usually not. Ordering/purchasing is done via the webshop. You will receive an invoice with every order. For large orders: please contact us.

Question: What is better? a black Firemaster or stainless steel?
Answer: Stainless steel is better because the chance of rusting through is minimal. The black Firemaster chimney caps are only (powder) coated.
