For moderate use of the fireplace, a Firemaster Basic chimney hood can be extremely suitable. This mainly concerns atmospheric heating. For a relatively low price, the fireplace channel is perfectly protected against bird nests and rain. The smart sweeping hatch is also included. And due to the clever hood construction with aerodynamic effect, the flue gets a regular chimney draught like never before. For channels smaller than Ø 180 mm, we have an adapter base plate available as an extra to prevent birds from entering the channel. A fireplace functions best with the right chimney draught.
